Nearly a billion birds will die in collisions with buildings in cities like Philadelphia this year.
One of the unintended consequences of development and growing our skyline is bird collisions with our building facades. More than 350 species travel through Philadelphia during spring and fall migration and on May 6 of this year, an estimated 2 million birds flew over PA in one night.
Join the Building Innovation Committee with special guest speaker Stephanie Staub from the Architectural Glass Institute to learn more about this challenge and strategies to reduce the impact of new construction and existing buildings.
